This position is an on-site position in San Antonio, TX. Interested candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the greater San Antonio, TX area.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant verifiable work experience. Salesforce Application Architect OR Salesforce System Architect certification is preferred.
Experience: 6+ years of experience in development, architecture, or consulting experience with Salesforce platform - 2 years of experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and 2 years of experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Critical Action Items:
1. Provide end-to-end solution architecture as it relates to Salesforce and integrated systems.
2. Lead technical discussions around Development, Integration, Data, Security, Mobility, etc. concepts and ensuring best practices are implemented.
3. Act as an advocate for the customer, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address customer’s business problems.
4. Lead code review sessions and plan platform optimization efforts with development and product team members.
5. Develop configuration for the design/creation/prototyping of new software products, enhancements, and fixes while documenting and maintaining technical architecture and designs.
6. Provide architectural and “big picture” oversight for development of new or enhanced components.
7. Maintain awareness and understanding of competing products and provide ideas for innovation and improvement to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
8. Architect and design comprehensive Salesforce solutions, addressing business requirements and ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture.
9. Provide guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed and solutions are scalable and maintainable.
10. Design and oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency, security, and real-time availability.
11. Perform regular reviews of the Salesforce environment to ensure optimal performance. Identify and implement improvements where necessary.
12. Work closely with key stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and senior leadership, to define and prioritize Salesforce initiatives.
13. Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce features, capabilities, and best practices to ensure the company is leveraging all available tools and technologies.
14. Create and maintain architectural documentation, ensuring that the team has the necessary information to build, maintain, and support the Salesforce solutions.
15. Mentor and guide junior team members, helping to upskill the broader team.
16. Develop and implement backup, contingency, and disaster recovery plans for the Salesforce system.
17. Provide guidance and support to the organization in optimizing the utilization of Salesforce licenses, including monitoring license usage, identifying underutilized licenses, license compliance, and recommending strategies for license optimization.
Requirements:
1. Ability to thrive in a rapid-response industry, supporting multiple clients with differing business needs.
2. Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and platform capabilities.
3. Proficient in Salesforce configuration, APEX, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other customizations.
4. Experience architecting complex business requirements into scalable solutions.
5. Experience with enterprise integration tools and methods.
6. Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
8. Ability to work well independently and in a team.
