Position Overview:
As a Production Manager with ARIVA Homes, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process across multiple communities within your region. You will lead and manage a team of Construction Managers, ensuring homes are built to the highest standards of quality, on schedule, and within budget. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including project planning, resource management, subcontractor relations, cost control, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the homebuilding process for multiple communities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to financial, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to Construction Managers and field teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Manage and update inventory status reports, production schedules, and turnover reports on a weekly basis.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor annual department budgets by subdivision and division; review monthly indirect tracking reports and report variances to the Director of Construction.
  • Collaborate with the Division Purchasing Manager, Architect, and Estimator on product design, development, and day-to-day operations.
  • Plan and organize staffing for key field positions to support overall department goals.
  • Assign, schedule, and direct construction staff, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions for subcontractor labor and material pricing; enforce quality control standards for subcontractors, vendors, and materials.
  • Implement and manage scheduling, selection software, and other technology tools to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and performance standards; update or develop new policies as necessary to align with company objectives.
  • Lead the hiring, development, and management of the Construction team within your assigned communities.
  • Monitor, review, and approve weekly payroll and manage any variances.
  • Perform additional duties as required by corporate executives.

Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory role with a production homebuilder, or a Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in high-volume residential homebuilding.
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle capable of transporting supplies; willingness to travel between communities as needed.
  • Proficiency in using ARIVA applications on smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
  • Ability to understand and execute written and oral instructions provided via ARIVA HOMES applications.
Skills and Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of new home construction processes, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Proficiency with Hyphen Solutions (BuildPro/Brix) preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and strong organizational skills.
  • A customer-first attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
