Summary of position:


We are looking for a sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic Operator to join our team. The successful candidate is someone that is passionate about working in a care team model with a personal responsibility of providing care for our orthopaedics patients and clinical support to the team. The right candidate will be able to provide an exceptional patient care experience that promotes healing and recovery, and having an attention to detail mindset while being caring and compassionate.

Position Status: Full-time


What You’ll Do:


 



  • Promptly answer all incoming calls.

  • Accurate route calls to the proper department or individual in the organization.

  • Give callers accurate directions to location sites.

  • Distribute incoming interoffice company mail.

  • Collect and redistribute building outgoing mail.

  • Weigh and stamp all building outgoing mail.

  • Log checks into respective binders and track distribution.

  • Distribute company phone lists.

  • Accept UPS, USPS or other mail carrier packages.

  • Work on Athena Practice and Scheduling bucket in EMR system

  • Update the Leading reach platform.

  • Work Scheduling fax/ email bucket

  • Regular and predictable attendance


 


 


What You’ll Need:


 



  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. 

  • 6 months or more of experience managing medium to high volume switchboard. 

  • Give callers accurate directions from various locations to individual clinic sites.  Ability to assist callers and determine appropriate area that call should be routed to.

  • Cisco or similar switchboard operating system.

  • Other duties as assigned as necessary and may vary at times, as needed, by your immediate supervisor or as directed by the company.

  • Position requires prolonged sitting for the majority of the assigned work shift.  Requires normal range of hearing to understand telephonic verbal communication and appropriately route calls.  Some bending, stretching, and lifting.  Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopies, telephone, and other equipment.
