 As a Test Cell Mechanic, you’ll repair and overhaul gas turbine engines and work with specialized mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems to test. 


What you’ll do:



  • Inspect engine modules and engine components.

  • Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality

  • Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy

  • Observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations

  • Troubleshoot, adjusts or replace components on engines


Position Requirements



  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions

  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under time pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Provides guidance to other mechanics with troubleshooting during the assembly, inspection and dismantle process. 

  • Inspection of unique parts. 

  • In-depth knowledge of process, manual and aviation regulations.

  • Apprenticeship and or/formal training in area(s) of specialty or commensurate experience is preferred. 

  • Minimum of 6 years aviation maintenance experience.

  • MUST meet ITAR requirements

  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))


Preferred Characteristics



  • FAA Power plant certification considered an asset.
