Matrix Design Group, Inc., an employee-owned planning, engineering, and environmental consulting firm is actively seeking a GCS Senior Executive Associate in our San Antonio office. Salary Range: $135,000.00 to $165,000.00 Annually. Salary will be dependent upon experience.  

 

Job Summary:

Serves as a specialist who performs business development and project management / execution for a variety of clients with differing needs.  Schedules and executes contract requirements on-time and on-budget.  Works with local, regional, state, and federal-level clients to assist them in achieving goals and understanding what matters most to various constituencies. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Project execution to include preparing reports, technical documents, presentations, and other project deliverables.
  • Project management or project management assistance including budgeting, scheduling, organizing teams, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines, quality assurance and invoicing.
  • Partnership building, to include developing and advancing Public-Public / Public-Private (P4) partnership agreements.
  • Meeting with clients and their representatives as an individual or part of a team to explain details, resolve issues, answer questions, and maintain good relations.
  • Working on inter-disciplinary assignments as needed.
  • Assisting in the development of capital investment, economic development, and asset and installation management solutions.
  • Business development, to include leading growth in existing markets and capturing new business opportunities.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals to potential clients and/or assist with their development.

  

Competencies:

  • Outstanding facilitation skills and capability to fully participate in meetings with senior community and military personnel.
  • Military installation facilities management
  • Organizational management with exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to synthesize and distill disparate sources into concise reports/presentations.
  • A strong skillset in Microsoft office applications.
  • Ability, and willingness to travel to project sites and other facility offices.

   

Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate and graduate degree in engineering discipline or a planning related field of study.
  • Minimum of twenty years of work-related experience.
  • Minimum of twenty years of Department of Defense experience in the areas of civil engineering, public works, installation management, logistics, and base operating support.
  • Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the Company’s MVR screening. 
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred)
