Summary:


Under supervision of the Director of RSS Employment and Youth Mentoring, The Program Manager’s primary responsibility is the management of the activities of RSS Employment and its components. The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating staff, the daily operations of the program, and ensuring program compliance with all applicable professional and agency standards and funding requirements.


Position Responsibilities:


  • * Program Development: The Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating service programs, interventions, and policies to meet the evolving needs of clients and communities.
  • *Planning and Organization: The Program Manager will assign various tasks, events, projects, or initiatives within the RSS Employment Services.
  • *Communication: The Program Manager is the primary point of contact to the RSS Employment Coordinators and program staff. This position will facilitate communication between the Program Director and staff, ensuring information flows effectively and efficiently.
  • *Scheduling: Provides oversight of program’s calendars, schedules, and appointments for team members, meetings, and events.
  • *Training and Onboarding: Ensures the program coordinator are assisting in training new team members, providing guidance on procedures, policies, and best practices.
  • *Resource Management: Maintains comprehensive oversight in managing the labeling, tracking, and allocation of resources, including materials and equipment, to guarantee they are readily available to support the program's responsibilities and objectives effectively.
  • *Reporting: Compile, analyze, and present data or information to support decision-making, performance evaluation, and strategic planning utilizing program data bases and spreadsheet reporting tools.
  • *Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of work, client case-note review, deliverables, and processes to ensure they meet established standards and requirements. In addition, provides support to the program coordinators in managing client case file creation and monitor files to ensure they are maintained throughout clients’ tenures in the program.
  • Liaison and point of contact with area partner employers and external community collaborators.
  • Ensures Client Satisfaction Surveys are collected.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Refugee Employment & Youth Mentoring and RSS Leadership.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience
    • A bachelor’s degree in a social service or business-related field is preferred, or a minimum of four years’ experience in social services with at least one year of experience in business administration and/or human resources experience.
  • License and Credentials
    • Reliable transportation
    • Valid driver license
    • Must have clean driving record
    • Valid vehicle insurance
    • Bilingual preferred


Minimum Knowledge and Skills:


  • Minimum of one years’ experience in Grants Contracts including Federal Grants, State Grants, Program Manual, and Operational Guidelines.
  • Extensive working knowledge of file documentation and Record keeping.
  • Experience with computer software and Microsoft office, E-mail and Internet (i.e., Microsoft software preferred and PDF).
  • A solid grasp of Non-profit Organization and Time Management.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team.
  • Must have good written and verbal skills.
  • Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work in a culturally sensitive way with people of various backgrounds.
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate ethical boundaries and professional client relationship.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to drive 12-15 passenger agency van when necessary.


Travel Requirements:


Travel requirements for the position includes 25- 50% local and 0 % overnight.

$28.62
